Ohio Governor Issues Stay At Home Order

Statement from Cleveland Heights City Manager Tanisha Briley:

This afternoon, Governor DeWine issued a "stay at home" order for all of Ohio effective Monday at 11:59 pm through April 6. Ohioans are instructed to only leave their homes for essential activities including for health and safety, supplies, outdoor activity or if you provide certain essential duties.

These are unprecedented times for all of us and I want the residents of Cleveland Heights to understand that the City will continue to be operational in providing all essential services. Our exceptional Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational to ensure we maintain the health and safety of our community. Our dedicated Public Works team will continue with refuse and recycling pickup and other critical functions.

Emails have been provided on the City’s website if you have specific questions but we ask for your patience as nonessential functions will not be staffed at this time. Where possible we will assign staff to work from home to continue providing services. As new information becomes available our team will do their best to update you. We hope you will all heed the Governors directive, and the CDC guidelines, and stay home and be safe, and stay healthy.
