Consists of five members and one alternate appointed by Council for four-year terms. This board hears citizen requests for zoning variances from regulations pertaining to signs, yard regulations, lot width requirements, off-street parking requirements, fences, etc. The board hears appeals concerning Housing, Zoning and Business Maintenance Codes.
The Board of Zoning Appeals generally meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in Council Chambers at Cleveland Heights City Hall.
