HEIGHTS ROCKEFELLER COMMUNITY
The Mayfield corridor from Superior Road to Taylor Road is known as the Heights Rockefeller Community, taking its name from the man who once owned a substantial portion of the land in that area. The historic Heights Rockefeller Building, at the corner of Mayfield and Lee, was built by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. in 1930.The building continues to serve the community's commercial needs and features antique stores, a gallery and other unique shopping, such as Boom, a highly respected vintage design shop specializing in Mid-20th Century 'Eames Era' furniture and Susan Yarn, one of the few yard stores in the Greater Cleveland area.

This area is home to a wide variety of businesses, including a number of auto dealerships (Motorcars and Toyota on the Heights) (www.motorcarstoyota.com, www.motorcarshonda.com and www.motorcarspontiacolds.com), and religious institutions.

The offices of The Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce (www.hrcc.org) and Ensemble Theater are situated in the district as is Myers University, offering a convenient location for students pursuing their degree.
