COVENTRY VILLAGE
Sometimes called Cleveland's Greenwich Village, Coventry Village, with its eclectic assortment of stores and restaurants, is one of the Cleveland area's most original shopping experiences. It draws residents and tourists alike. The Courtyard on Coventry building brought several new merchants to the area, including Caribou Coffee and BD's Mongolian Barbeque complementing those who have been there through the years.
On a trip to Coventry, you can shop for necessities at the hardware store, purchase a major appliance, drop off dry cleaning and pick up a video (VidStar). After taking care of your errands, you can spend the rest of the day wandering through the many unique stores the area has to offer. Where else can one shop for collectible toys (Big Fun) gifts, cards, books, music, clothing and much more?
After shopping, you can top off the day by hearing live music at the Grog Shop or The B-Side.
Dining Out
The restaurants in the Coventry area offer a wide array of foods, from wings, burgers, subs, pizza and steak, to Asian, Mexican and Italian cuisine. Many of the restaurants in Coventry have been winners in the Cleveland Magazine Silver Spoon Awards, including Hunan Coventry (Chinese), Tommy's (Best Vegetarian), Inn on Coventry (Breakfast), and the Winking Lizard (Best Cheap Eats and Beer Selection).
