RECREATION ID CARDS (Cleveland Heights residents only)
The City uses a digital system for all Recreation ID cards. ID cards are effective for one year from date of purchase, whenever that may be.

Benefits of Having a Recreation ID Card
In order to use Cleveland Heights parks and recreation facilities, it is necessary to have a Recreation ID card. The benefits are:
  1. Reduced rates for all Community Center classes, workshops, programs and field trips
  2. Reduced rates for public ice skating sessions and other skating programs
  3. Free use of our lighted tennis courts, our outdoor basketball courts (admission to outdoor basketball courts only may also be gained by presenting a current Cleveland Heights High School ID card), and our skate park
  4. Use of six outdoor picnic shelters (permit needed for a fee of $25)
  5. Free use of two wading pools
  6. Reduced admission for swimming and aquatics programs
  7. Reduced rates for tennis lessons, youth sports programs and adult sports programs
  8. Discounted tickets to most music, dance and theater performances at Cain Park
  9. Use of our Community Center Fitness Center, track and basketball courts.
Please Note: When Cleveland Heights residents purchase a Recreation ID card for $5.00, they have the following two options: 1) with an ID card, a resident can pay $6.00 per day to use the Field House, or 2) with an ID card, a resident may purchase a Field House pass (see below).

Cost of Recreation ID Cards
Cleveland Heights Recreation ID cards are only available to Cleveland Heights residents. To purchase a Recreation ID card, you need:
  1. $5.00 for the card (includes digital photo; therefore, cards must be purchased in person)
  2. Proof of current residency. Acceptable proof of Cleveland Heights residency includes:
    1. Photo ID (driver's license, state ID or passport)
    2. Recent progress reports for students, plus
    3. Two other items (such as a recent utility bill, insurance bill, bank statement, mortgage bill, auto registration, phone bill, paycheck, pay stub or mailing from the Cleveland Heights-University Heights school district).
FIELD HOUSE PASSES

Benefits of Having a Field House Pass
Cleveland Heights Recreation ID card holders who purchase an annual Field House Pass receive unlimited usage of the Field House for one year. This includes daily access to the Fitness Center and its nautilus and cardio equipment, the track, and the gym.
*Cleveland Heights residents with Recreation ID cards who choose not to purchase a Field House Pass pay $6.00 per day to use the Field House.

Cost of Field House Pass
Cost of Field House Pass In order to purchase a Field House Pass, Cleveland Heights residents must first purchase a Recreation ID card. Once an ID card is purchased, residents can then purchase a Field House Pass (for unlimited usage of the Fitness Center, track and open gym for one year), for the following prices:

• Youth resident K through age 11$84
• Youth resident age 12 through HS or equivalent$110
• Young adult resident age 18-24$165
• Adult resident age 25-59$192
• Senior adult resident age 60 and up$99
• Resident Family* $312
• Youth non-resident K through age 11$210
• Youth non-resident age 12 through HS or equivalent$225
*Family definition is adult head of household and his/her spouse or partner and dependent children age 18 and under occupying household.

Please note: Non-Resident youth (which accounts only for children grades K-12 living in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District).

Field House Guest Policy
Field House passholders may now bring a non-resident guest (maximum of two) at a cost of $8 per guest. Recreation ID holders without a Field House pass may not bring guests.

ICE PASSES

Benefits of Having an Ice Pass
Cleveland Heights Recreation ID card holders who purchase an annual Ice Pass receive daily usage of the North Ice Rink (and South Rink when it is open, which is six months out of the year) for one year.
*Cleveland Heights residents with Recreation ID cards who choose
not to purchase an Ice Pass pay $2.50 (adult), $1.75 (student) per
skating session to use the Ice Rink.


Cost of Ice Pass
In order to purchase an Ice Pass, Cleveland Heights residents must first purchase a Recreation ID card, which costs $5.00. Once an ID card is purchased, residents can then purchase an Ice Pass (for daily usage of the North Rink and South Rink), for the following prices:

• Youth age 12-HS$100
• Youth Adult 18-24$120
• Adult 25-59$140
• Senior 60 and up$60
• Family*$250
*Adult head-of-household and his/her spouse or partner and dependent children occupying household age 18 and under.

Non-Residents

COMMUNITY CENTER PASSES (Ice and Field Housing Combined)

Benefits of Having a Community Center Pass
Cleveland Heights residents and Recreation ID card holders who purchase an annual Community Center Pass receive unlimited usage of both the Field House and Ice Rinks for one year. This includes daily access to the Fitness Center and its nautilus equipment, the track, the open gym, the Olympic-size North ice rink and the South rink.
*Cleveland Heights residents with Recreation ID cards who choose
not to purchase a Community Center Pass pay $6.00 (adult rate)
per day to use the Field House and $3.00 (adult rate) per daily skating
session to use the Ice Rinks.

In order to purchase a Community Center Pass, Cleveland Heights residents must first purchase a Recreation ID card, which costs $5.00. Once an ID card is purchased, residents can then purchase a Community Center Pass (for unlimited usage of the Fitness Center, nautilus and cardio equipment, track, open gym, and North and South rinks for one year), for the following prices:

Where to Purchase ID Cards and Passes
Recreation ID cards, Field House passes, Ice passes and Community Center passes may be obtained at the Cleveland Heights Community Center (One Monticello Boulevard at Mayfield Road) on the following days and times:
